I will continue to pressure Government to ensure our police are properly funded. I have lobbied both the Home Secretary and Police Minister for additional funding for London's police and have raised concerns about the 101 system for reporting crimes.

Zac Goldsmith MP hosts ‘Pint and Politics’ evening in Kingston

On Thursday, 15th of November, Zac Goldsmith hosted a public meeting and a Q&A session with local residents at The Willow Real Food Restaurant and Bar, at the Triangle in New Malden.  The event was very popular with constituents and well over 100 residents attended the event.

Zac Goldsmith Works With Council To Clear Ham Common

On Thursday, 19th of July, a group of Travellers settled on Ham Common. Up to 25 vehicles and caravans assembled in the middle of the Common.

Shortly after they arrived, Zac Goldsmith MP went to meet Councillors and police on the Common to work out how to remove them.

Zac Goldsmith MP met with Sally Benatar – the new Commander of the South West Borough Basic Command Unit which covers Kingston, Richmond, Merton and Wandsworth – to discuss a rise in crime in the area, and the steps being taken by the local police to tackle it.

Zac condemns persecution of Ahmadiyya Muslims
