On Friday the 7th December 2018, Zac Goldsmith MP attended Kew Sparkle with local campaigner and Conservative Council Candidate Ms Jane Keep.
Kew Sparkle is an annual Christmas event in Kew, run by local volunteers and which raises thousands of pounds every year for local causes. This year Kew Sparkle raised money for the Mulberry Centre, a charity which provides support and information for anyone affected by cancer, offering practical ways of enhancing physical, psychological and emotional wellbeing.
At Kew Sparkle this year, children from the local primary schools sung carols. Additionally, several rides and stalls were available for the entertainment of children and adults alike and local traders kept their shops open for late night shopping.
Zac said of the trip: “It’s a great start to the festive season, and I was particularly pleased to see The Good Wine Shop up and running again, after the fire earlier in the year. Congratulations to the organisers for the best year yet.”
