It was a great privilege to be back in beautiful Indonesia with Environment Minister Siti Nurbaya to formally announce the creation of the magnificent new Mutis Timau National Park in East Nusa Tenggara Province. It is 112,430 hectares and a Biodiversity hotspot, home to 91 bird species, 12 of which are on the protected list. This is the first of the new Parks being opened as part of the partnership we have formed between the Govt of Indonesia and the Bezos Earth Fund.
