Last Chance to Stop Heathrow!

Last chance to stop Heathrow! Gathering on Richmond Green 29th November.

Residents of Richmond and Kew have a last chance to voice their opposition to Heathrow expansion before the Government decision expected in December. Susan Kramer MP and Zac Goldsmith will be speaking at a gathering on Little Green, Richmond (opposite Richmond Theatre) at 9.30 am on Saturday 29th November. This will be followed by a trip to Lampton Park, Lampton Road, Hounslow, for those who would like to join a HACAN protest taking place there at 11.00 am.

Peter Willan of Richmond Heathrow Campaign, said ?We are very concerned that the decision might be to end runway alternation and introduce Mixed Mode. This would be a disaster for the area, regardless of whether Heathrow capacity is increased. We would be plagued by flights all day every day.?
Michael Glazebrook, Chairman of The Kew Society, said ?There is clear evidence that plane noise damages health and impairs educational development. We owe it to the children of the borough to fight this.?

Residents are urged to come along and make their voice heard. For further details, please contact or
Otherwise interest in joining the rally can be registered at The Open Book, 10 King Street, Richmond or at The Kew Gardener, Station Parade , Kew or at Lloyd?s of Kew, Mortlake Terrace.
