The All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Heathrow Expansion – chaired by Richmond Park and North Kingston MP Zac Goldsmith – sees Members of Parliament and of the House of Lords coming together to scrutinise the case for a third runway at Heathrow.
The APPG’s most recent meeting was a panel session involving local council leaders, residents, and experts on health, noise and air quality. The group’s members heard serious concerns about Heathrow expansion, based on hard evidence.
Commenting, Zac said: “On noise, air quality, surface access and financing, Heathrow Airport fails – this is not just the view of those living in West London; it is the view of the experts too. The APPG I chair will continue to make the arguments against expansion to the Government and I am confident that this is an argument we will win.”
